How To Start Your Online Business In A Matter Of Few Minutes and Still Rake In Thousands of Dollars Every Month

How To Start Your Online Business In A Matter Of Few Minutes and Still Rake In Thousands of Dollars Every Month

 by: Andrew Heuw

Would you like to rake in $10,466 per month without having your own products? If you would like to then read on

1. So What Is It?

It is called affiliate marketing. It, as a matter of fact, is one of the easiest and fastest ways to start your online business and rake in thousands of dollars every month.

2. What’s Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing simply to say is promoting other people’s product and in return you’ll get certain percentage of the merchant’s item if and only people who buy the merchant’s item buy through your link.

So we can say some sort of online multi level marketing.

Why I said that? Because many of these programs have 2-tier which means you can refer another affiliate below you. Whenever he or she makes sales you’ll get certain percentage of those sales.

3. How do I get started?

Well, first off, you have to identify which niche you want in? For example if you are a maniac golfer, then the chance you’re more likely to promote golf equipment rather than fishing equipment.

Then estimate the competition, go to Google and type in your appropriate term for example “beginner golf guide” and see how much sites on that subject already exist?

For me personally, I don’t care much about the competition if you have more crowded competition that means you’ll need to wait longer to make profits and so vice versa. It’s just that simple.

However, be sure to do something you really love, because in the end it will be life and death of your business.

4. Let’s Find The “Eager-To-Give You Money” Merchant

Now you should have roughly figure on which niche you want to in. The next thing we’re going to do is find potential merchant that could bring you the potential income you always dream of.

To faster the process we are going to choose them from affiliate programs directory. Affiliate programs directory is site that already does the hard-work for us in selecting which one the potential merchant, so you just need to pinpoint which one you want to embrace.

Some of the best are:

www.associateprograms.com

www.5staraffiliateprograms.com

5. Skyscraper Website versus “Mini” Content Site

As the time writing, there’re 2 current opinions:

The first state in order to get money from affiliate program you have to build skyscraper site and fill it with hundreds of content while

The second state in order to get money from affiliate program you have to build multiple stream of mini site

Which one that works?

Both work, it is ultimately up to you which one you want to adopt for example of the first one in action you can see www.sage-hearts.com which has been running by Rosalind Gardner while the second one you can see www.dominatesearchengine.com which has been running by Anik Singal (Actually, I haven’t ask their permission to cover their web site in this article but I bet they wouldn’t mind)

Both is very respected and highly acclaimed both affiliate marketer and internet marketer.

Here’re the pros and cons:

If you decide to build mini site then you’ll have to forget the possibility of getting traffic from generic search engine.

If you decide to build skyscraper content site then you’ll have to invest considerable amount of time and energy to build it.

Don’t re-invent the wheel there’s no point in doing so just follow what already works. Examine both of their sites carefully and see which part you can adapt to your business model. (But mark my words don’t copy them words-by-words!)

6. Ready to Drive Traffic?

Now you have proven business model at your disposal, it is the time to drive traffic to your site. I’d recommend first off you start by going to build reciprocal link campaign. Reciprocal link is the act of exchanging link between two sites in hope to send traffic to each other.

Let’s put it into action

Once again type in your keywords on search engine, next click on each of the site you found, if you like this site then examine it carefully. Are they having something like “submit URL” or “add URL”?

If they have click on the link there should be simple self-explanatory instruction to exchange your link with that website but what if they didn’t have one? Just contact them through email or phone and ask if they’re willing to do reciprocal link with you.

What’s great about this method? Here’s what will happen

Let’s say after doing reciprocal link for one month in the end of the month you get 30 links. Each one refer one people per day to your site, now you already have 30 people visit your site without you doing a thing. In one month you will get 900 people visit your site on completely auto pilot. That’s the beauty of reciprocal link-)

What happen if you can manage to get 200 links?

7. Final Note

Like any of other endeavors if you expect some results it means hard work and persistence. Don’t expect result in a week I tell you that wouldn’t happen but expect in a year or so. Trust me though it seems long far away at the beginning but in the end your perseverance will pay off many times.

How Building a Fanbase will Make You Sales

If you’ve ever been to a popular forum hosted by a singal indivual, you would probably notice that most of the members of said forum take the owner or moderators advice as gold. Allan Gardyne is a good example of this, with his affiliate advice forum. Whenever he posts, people listen and will actively revolve their own decisions around his.

Optimize Press Release To Haul Infinite Web Traffic

Optimize Press Release To Haul Infinite Web Traffic

 by: Allen Brown

Search engines increasingly charge for inclusion, and press release distribution networks charge hundreds of dollars to distribute your news. But I’ve come up with a way to legitimately let other people shoulder the time or effort for your news to show up in search engines.

Search Engine Optimization and Free Press Release Distribution

Here’s how to profit from this strategy, in six steps.

1. Decide on a keyword phrase that ties in to the product or service you are promoting and that people actually search for. You can research this conveniently at Wordtracker.com.

2. Place this phrase into your press release headline and repeat it around three times within the body of your press release. Make sure you also include two properly formed links to your own Web site (i.e., write “http://www.mydomain.com” rather than “mydomain.com”) within the text of the release.

3. Unless the proper name of your product or service is already well-known, emphasize its generic description rather than its name. For instance, write “proposal writing software” rather than “PropWritePro.”

4. Likewise, substitute keyword phrases for pronouns like “it” or “its” to increase their overall frequency in the release.

5. Post your completed press release at sites that allow free posting, such as prweb.com, pressbox.co.uk and dozens of others that turn up in searches on phrases like “free press release submission” or “free press release distribution.” Through diligent and repeated searching, I found more than 20 general sites like that and more than 100 sites welcoming releases on a particular topic.

6. Wait a few weeks and check your standing in search engines for the phrases in your release. Positionagent.com works well for this. Then repeat the whole process for another message, another keyword phrase or another product or service.

Additional Notes on Press Release Optimization

Although these steps may appear simple, they are not intuitive or natural for anyone with experience in writing traditional press releases. Let’s suppose you were launching a rental boat service in Truro, Massachusetts, which is on Cape Cod. Tourists would be much more likely to use “Cape Cod” as a search term than “Truro,” so the former is what should be repeated. And particularly if you happen to know Cape Cod, if you were not consciously writing for search engines, you would probably use “Cape Cod” only once and then revert to “the Cape,” which wouldn’t help enough when people are typing in “Cape Cod boat rental.”

A bonus benefit of this strategy is that by placing your releases around the Web, you may also boost the rankings of your own site at search engines that count inbound links as a sign of popularity.

Assuming you’ve chosen your keyword phrases wisely, enjoy the increased visibility and traffic that the free press release posting sites have worked hard to obtain for you!

What is a Link?

What is a Link?

 by: Robert Nixon

A link is either text or picture (graphic’s) that when a visitor clicks on it, they are taken somewhere else. This somewhere else is either another page of your site or to another site. These links can also be in your navigation. A link such as these are out going links. You may also have other website on the internet that have a link to your site or one of your site pages. These are called in-coming links. Inside your domain you may both as one page leads to another, and back.

The Links on the in-coming side, that is from other sites and the links out going should be somehow related to the content of the site page they are directed to or from.

You will also have temporary and long term links.

Long term links

Long term links are those you put on your site page that you determine how long they stay, or you those that you have entered at places like Alexa that may or may not be the same as those on your domain. Although you can enter up to twenty at Alexa, they will show only the first ten when someone using the Alexa toolbar goes there. I have also tried for years to change the first link that was to an old domain I had but for some reason Alexa keeps it on.

It is suggested that they are, however there is a degree of debate about this as we wonder if putting a link to MSN, Google, or some other like site will assist a domain by the presence of the link when the robot of that engine spiders your site. Do they give credit for the link back to them at the same weight as not having one?

If you are submitting articles to sites like ‘Go Articles’, then it should benefit you to have a link to them. They will in turn link back to you and will show up on the ’sites linking in’ on your Alexa report.

Submitting to FFA type of sites will do you no good for the links themselves. These sites are a short term links are should be used as a part of your traffic considerations only, as is the volume of e-mail associated with them. For productivity purposes they are almost useless today for generation of sales anyway. This is due to the failure of proper regulation by the site owners, as many allow spamming or rotate the links to quickly to serve any purpose.

Some other types of short term links may be from other sites that you may have an agreement with to have links back to one another, called mutual links. Once you have traded links with another site, you will want to check after a period of time to see if the link is actually producing any clicks to your domain. A link without any traffic may do no good for you, so I have put these in my temporary link category. It is up to you however, but if it is only a ‘one-way street’ then why have it?

The content of the page where the link is will also effect the value of the link. A link on your main site page should be related to what is on your main page. If you have a site page at your domain where you send visitors for other reason ( like I have for my Free Stuff and Resources page) then the links on that page should be pertaining to the content of that page. Your domain links, that is from one page to another within your domain, along with a good ’site map’ will take care of the inter-relating to and from the whole domain.

The value of links of any type given by the search engines will be determined by the engine itself.

They are constantly changing and you have to keep an eye on how they weigh the links. Some may value the amount, some the quality, some both. Even so, links are but one part of the equation used for your domain or page rank. You may have one page ranked higher than another in the same domain and that is OK too. The bottom line is that a visitor to your site ( potential client ), if interested enough, will go to your main page if on another for more information, or visa versa. How they find your site in their search will come more from your content and site theme and how that return is given to them from where ever they started their search from. Your links to the engines will give you an edge, but how much is that worth? Is it enough to justify the expense , either in money or time on your part? IF your Return On Investment ( R.O.I.) is sufficient, then YES it is worth everything to you. IF, on the other hand you find your are spending ten dollars for every sale before you make the sale and your profit margin can not sustain it, then NO.

Many times I have been to sites that just do not give me enough information to allow me to determine if their product is what I want. It is amazing also as to how many make if almost impossible to contact anyone. And these are from domains that have spent thousands of dollars for custom site creation and promotions.

It is better in the long run to have a well rounded site that is easy for the visitor to find out the information they desire and to make a purchase.

With more and more sales coming from the internet, the site owners should be aware of the importance. The days of ‘deep pockets’ paying their way to the top ten on the returns are quickly fading away. It will not be too long before the search engines see the trend also, and start putting the paid advertisements on the side bars of their return pages. Buying out the competition just won’t work on the evolving internet as many visitors get more and more internet savvy.

Convenience will outweigh the difference in the price of the product, if the difference in the price is not a lot. Think about it. There are many more ‘mini-marts’ in towns than big name markets. Why is that? People don’t want to wait in line for something they need quickly. They will pay a little more for this time saving. They will still go the the big name market for the weekly grocery purchases and wait at the check out, but not for the purchase of just a bottle of water.

Diary of a Google Gazumpee

Back in November, when the Google Dance began, Barry Lloyd of makemetop.co.uk wrote an article entitled “Been Gazumped by Google?” GAZUMPED! What a wonderfully descriptive term. In fact, it succinctly describes what happened to us when our website went from #1 to oblivion a few months ago.

We were gazumped, swindled, cheated out of what was rightfully ours. Okay, who’s to say what search engine position rightfully belongs to anyone. I mean, let’s face it, getting to the top of the search engines for coveted keywords is really just a crap shoot, isn’t it?

Mindset from Yahoo!- Changing the SEO Game

Yahoo! has a developed a new concept in search engine technology - “Intent Driven Search” - allowing you to sort search results according to their commercial or informational content.

The beta version of Mindset is now online as Yahoo! tests and refines this concept. It depends on machine learning technology to rate sites on a scale to determine if they are primarily commercial or informational.

SEO Expert Explains on How to Restore a Website and Remove Sandbox Effect from Your Website

SEO Expert Explains on How to Restore a Website and Remove Sandbox Effect from Your Website

 by: Bhupinder Singh

The sandbox effect or (site getting banned on google) has been prevalent in google for quite a long time, and many websites are falling victim to it.

Whether deliberately or accidentally, these websites get caught by so called (GOOGLE POLICE CRAWLER) and in a similar fashion your site domain goes to a prison cell. While staying in this prison cell for 2-3 or maybe 4 months, google police crawlers revisit the cell to check the status of the website domain.

If the site webmaster or whosoever handling the site notices that the site is not showing on google or any other search engine, and manages to pin point the defect in the site, your website gets back to life, otherwise your site gets life imprisonment for rest of its life, and no one can bring it back, unless you are a hacker and go inside google database to modify your site details.

Normally people ignore POLICE CRAWLER’s in the first place, and later find that it’s too late. If you detect any fluctuations in google rankings, it could be possible that your site is entering Google’s Sandbox.

Google has a rule book of a fickle minded child which changes every 2-3 months, and several sites which do not keep their sites updated with the changes in the algorithm google is using to crawl your site, gets off the track, and ultimately die a slow death.

It’s more like a slow poison, where your site dies not in a single day, but slowly, without your knowledge, because google would never disclose openly that your site has indeed been penalized.

Earlier the sites used to get penalized, and were immediately removed from the google search engine. Like for example, I was given task to restore the site www.yxz.com, about 4 months ago

Now some of the problems facing with the site were

1)Their url was not even showing on google.

Now closely examining site page by page I came to know that one of their pages was pointing to their partner site www.abc.com, which received life imprisonment on google.

2) Moreover both were sharing same IP address, and the site received penalty on google.

Now if you are hiding a criminal in your house, you are also a part of active crime, and police will certainly punish you in the same manner, maybe in a mild fashion.

I explained my theory, and recommended them to remove the link pointing to abc.com, and certain redirections on certain page, but they the owner was bit skeptical about what I was talking and gave me a lecture on “what’s the importance of www.abc.com” for their business, and other Business Jargon

“OK I said”, why not go for flash link on that particular page. and, problem got resolved and site got restored within a month.

The site was banned for more than a years, and nobody in the company looked into the matter why their site is not showing on google.

Thankfully the site got restored, but unluckily manager decided to close the company site since it has suffered great loss over a period of last one year due to several factors, one of them was their ranking on google, which was bringing them customers 30-50 every month from google and other search engines.

Similarly its important for any WEBMASTER, or the owner of the site to keep track of its rankings on google, because if some updates are done to the algorithm, it could be possible that your site is not adhering to the latest algorithm.

Good Luck

Keyword Ownership: What It Is And Where Its Headed

Have you ever got one of those silly emails that offers to let you own a keyword? Silly question. How many such emails do you get every day?

A number of such services regularly email me offering keyword ownership of premium keywords for $300/year. They say that anyone can type the keyword I bought in the address bar of Internet explorer, instead of typing in a URL, and they will be sent directly to my site. In total it seems that there are about 2% of Internet users worldwide who have enabled one type or another of this system, spread out between a few competitive services.
