Using Your Rotator Site as an Online Secretary
by: Scott Harker
You are online, working your advertising program and you come across
a site which intrigues you, you sign up, bookmark the affiliate link
to a folder and go back to you’re main work. With the best of
intentions you mean to get back to that new link, but you never
really do. Why? Because the folder where you bookmarked that link is
already full of possible websites to add to your workload. And let’s
face it, all those links in that folder look alike, they are
intermingled with all sorts of other links, etc. You know the picture
because you have folders like that!
I take a new affiliate link and place it into my rotator link and let
it simmer for awhile. A Rotator Link Site advertises many websites
with one link - the rotator link. By placing this one Rotator Link
into an advertising program you can display many different websites
one after the another (in rotation), getting traffic to a lot of your
websites with one effort. I routinely monitor the different sites I
have in rotation at my Rotator Link Site, so I know I will get back
to that new affiliate program. That program is in rotation and
getting some traffic, if it gets some response - sales or downline, I
will definitely pay attention to this affiliate link. On the other
hand, when I get back to this new link with full concentration and
discover that it was more hype then substance. I can delete and
forget it.
This is one reasons to use your Rotator Link Site as an online
secretary.
Another reason to why your Rotator Link Site can be your online
secretary is the ability to KEEP TRACK of the many affiliate and
personal websites that you have.
You are using a friend’s computer and want to share a hot program.
But you can’t remember the URL for that particular site. You could do
a search and find it, but you want to give out your affiliate link.
No problem. Go to your Rotator Link Site, log in and go to your list
of URL’s. Choose the program link you want to share (and maybe a
couple of others). And, voila, you friend is informed and impressed.
I use this same idea when I want to plug in one of my affiliate links
into an ad or traffic program. Once again all of my best money making
programs are at my fingertips. A quick trip to my Rotator Link Site,
a copy and paste, and I’m ready for another task.
Use your Rotator Link Site as a repository of your most important
affiliate and website URL’s and for new links as you find them. And
if you’re not using a Rotator Link Site, check out the link in my
resource box.

A Merry Search Engine Holiday
by: James Trivolette
Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah and happy Kwanzaa to all of you. The holiday season is getting very close, it is now only a few days away. The perfect time for, you guessed it, a new search engine update. This is a new one for me as I generally follow Google and the agony they create with each new update. This month however my target is Yahoo.com and it’s latest changes. The last major update (part 6) was completed on December 15. We have all been watching and waiting to see the results of this update. It seems Yahoo has it all under control though. This update did effect a lot of users but most are happy with the results as it seems Yahoo is trying to out do Google in getting relevant search engine results. Tim Mayer posted a Blog at the Yahoo Search Blog. This is what he had to say:
“As always if you have any feedback for us about the new index please email: ystfeedback@yahoo.com. Please provide specific feedback that includes either:
1) Specific query terms where the results are good or bad.
2) Specific domains that you feel are either being under or over indexed.
We look forward to hearing from you.”
Don’t get me wrong there are those sites that have completely disappeared but, there is reasoning to this. Search engines are trying to filter out those who purchase backlinks for search engine optimization purposes and different spamming techniques. Those that are complaining that they have lost ranks also complain because they say they have done nothing to drop off the search engine results pages. That they do follow all the guidelines and that they only utilize strictly white-hat search engine optimization. There are enough of these complaints to know that not all the bugs are worked out yet. This could also be a hint that there is another update coming in the near future. With the way Google has been acting I really hope Yahoo.com can pull it together and show us what we all want to see: the perfect search result for sought after keywords. They still have a long way to go but, it seems to be going a lot smoother for yahoo.com then Google.com had with “Jagger”.
Everyone out there on the World Wide Web have happy holiday and please be careful if traveling.

7 Steps to Easily Increase More Sales - Step 3
by: Tina Valiedi
You’ll find plenty of advice on techniques and methods to
use for increasing sales. But which ones do you believe?
Which ones do you try? How do you know their methods will
produce the same results?
Many web site owners make the big mistake of trying the
“latest” and the “greatest”, thinking that they will see
the advertised results or at least a high percentage of it.
They may see an increase or just as likely see a reduction
in their current figures.
When you test and track you can be sure you’ll know the
answers to the questions just asked. In Step 2 we discussed
how to set up the split test and what to track. Now we’ll
look at the different things to test and track.
Step 3 - What To Test For Better Conversion
There are many elements contained in your web site sales
copy that can be tested…an overabundance at times! You
can even test different groups of elements. It is usually
best to start simple and test the most crucial element of
your sales copy… The Headline.
1. Your Headline
This one element will break or make your web sales copy…
If it doesn’t grab your visitor’s attention, they won’t
bother to read any further down the page. Changing one word
can phenomenally improve your conversion rate and it can
also reduce it. If you only test headlines, you’ll still
come out way ahead of the sales conversion game.
2. Pricing
There are times when a higher price will outpace a lower
one…if there is perceived value added. Test your market
to determine what it’s willing to pay for your information
or product.
3. Graphics
Should you put a fancy header graphic on your web sale site
or not. Run a test of your sales copy… one without and
one with the graphic.
What else can you test? This list will give you some ideas:
Guarantee,Payment plan options,Pop ups,Sales copy length,
Bullets, Thank you page, Order page, Bonus offers etc.
This is a partial list…the most critical is still the
headline. Your testing should start there. Change one word,
change the color of the words or of selected words. Try two
different headlines or different fonts. The formula from
Step 2 will help you find your conversion rates for each
variable tested.http://www.mpstrategiesfirm.com
Two common question asked about Step 2 are: “My site has
very low traffic, should I still test?” and “With a lower
traffic site won’t the results be skewed if you don’t use
50 actions?”
Two excellent questions… Yes by all means you can begin a
split test even if own a low traffic site. In fact, test
becomes even more important because you want to make the
most from that traffic.
You won’t want to miss Step 4 when we reveal the secrets of
testing low traffic sites and how to use your test results
to increase your conversions.
