Simple Strategies You Can Adopt to Display Adsense and Reap More Money. Use Adsense Wisely and Maximise Your Profits 1,000%.
Adsense, Banner Advertising a Waste or False Economy?
Ask your self the following questions before you place adsense, banner advertising on your site.
1 Are adsense and banner advertising my major source of revenue?
2 Was the site set purposely to derive major income from adsense and banner advertising?
3 Was my site set up to derive majority income from the products or services I sell?
If you answer yes to question 1 & 2 don’t read further for those of you who answer no read on.
Get the Customers Attention
You work hard to bring customers to your site and landing page only to find that you have lost your customer to captivating three line adsense advertising. If you are selling a product or service, the most important thing is to get the customers attention solely on the products as soon as they arrive at the site.
If you have an adsense on top of your page it becomes a distraction to the customer who will not be able to resist reading the adsense ads. What happens? “voila click, gone”. You have just lost an important customer and revenue. How much have you made from adsense? May be 5 cents or one dollar, no one knows how Google calculates the revenue.
Simple Strategies You Can Adopt to Display Adsense and Reap More Money:
Free Product, Services and Promotions Page
If you are offering free articles, products, service & promotions, then it makes sense and pays very well to expose your adsense in a well displayed spot, mainly at the top or right hand of the page because humans read from top left to the right.
Place Adsense at the Bottom of Your Important Page
If promoting a product your sales pitch should be what the customer should be seeing first and not the adsense on top it. Continue to engage the customer on the product by the time they see the adsense at the bottom they would have made their mind about your product. Either they will purchase it or not. At this stage it will be a win-win either the product is purchased or the adsense is clicked.
Adsense Must be Relevant or Complement Site
Imagine a customer looking for a product or information, only to see a giant adsense ads greeting when they click the site with very little information on the page. The customer will just click back in less than 2 seconds. This means information and adsense need to be relevant for the customer to seek more information from your ads not the keywords that brought them to the site.

Webmasters have a revolutionary new method of collecting income from their websites. Whereas in the past advertising revenue was reserved for those sites with large a coming and going of visitors, now even teenagers are making a quick buck with their online hobby blogs. People place adsense on their online family photo albums, their blogs and their business sites. The minimum you would get, even with a small amount of traffic, is for adsense to pay for your hosting costs.

Good overall optimization, the right keyword phrases and quality content play the key roles in the success of any web design project. Link Popularity and Google PageRank are almost secondary for the overall success of a website.
Here is an example. I recently took advantage of a free service offered by a competing SEO firm. It was for a Free Keyword Analysis. Sounds like a great deal, we charge $129 for the service and it’s almost a give-away. I wanted to see what they were offering for free so I inserted the URL of one of our clients, fkpfishing.net in the form, added my personal e-mail address and hit enter.

Spreading Word-Of-Mouth Advertising Through Forums
by: Dax Christopher
As many webmasters and regular web-surfers would know, an online forum community is a great place to meet large groups of people online. Forums provide a means through which visitors to a website can interact with one another and exchange ideas or reviews of products or just talk about anything under the sun. Acute marketers and webmasters will already know that these communities are often excellent places for free advertising.
Word-of-mouth advertising can be used to refer to advertising by which people pass on the marketing message through communication between people. A forum community provides just the setting for word-of-mouth advertising to spread due to its nature of discussion and community structure. Any one member who joins the community is entitled to post his/her thoughts by creating new forum threads or to reply to others or counter someone else’s arguments. Every post that is made is an opportunity to spread some word-of-mouth advertising. This is often done through forum profiles and signatures. A signature is a small description of the member. Most forum communities have no qualms about members posting some self-advertising messages in their signatures, as long as the advert is not too obtrusive. Therefore, forum members can make use of their signatures to post links to their websites or links to products that they are selling. By participating actively in forum communities, one can easily reach a large audience. Because everyone on the forum who participates in the discussion is reading the posts of all members in the discussion as well as signatures, an attractive link will arouse their interests and incite them to click on the link to go to your advertised site. Imagine the impact that this would have in a forum community with thousands of members and your signature appearing in thousands of posts. The boundaries in this form of word-of-mouth advertising is limitless as it largely depends on how much you post and participate in the discussions. The more you participate engagingly, the more times your links appear and the more chances people get to see and interest them to view your site.
Of course, care must be taken to ensure that you are following the proper etiquette as specified by the forum community and that you do not spam the forums. Spamming happens when someone joins in every discussion and posts useless comments that are not constructive. Spammers are often penalized by being banned from the forum for spamming their links in the forum.

Google’s AdSense Soon To Have New Rival?
by: Michael Cheney
A large part of Google’s multi-billion dollar annual turnover comes from its nifty AdSense advertising program. The software enables website owners to drop in a piece of code to their pages that then serves advertisements provided by Google.
How Does Google AdSense Work?
It all works dynamically and the adverts that are displayed based on the content of the page. So if a website owner places the Google AdSense code on a page about holidays then holiday ads are delivered onto the page automatically by Google.
Everybody wins because when people click on one of the ads - the advertiser gets a visitor, Google can charge a rate for the clickthrough and the website owner who is serving the ad gets a share of this revenue.
It’s been an excellent model for all parties concerned and especially as Google has enabled even small website owners to take part which means accumulatively Google’s advertising real estate is absolutely vast.
Is The Monopoly Over?
But there may be trouble ahead for Google as, according to sources at CNETNews, Yahoo! is planning a very similar service to challenge Google’s.
The two search giants have been up against each in the search advertising arena already but it is only now that Yahoo! seems poised to launch a monopoly-breaking attempt on Google’s AdSense program.
This is all great news for smaller website owners as it means the two search goliaths will be vying to provide the best service and offering the best rates to compete for the lucractive ad space.
When Should You Accept Advertising On Your Website?
Well it’s a difficult call. Do it too soon and you risk deterring visitors from staying on your website. Do it too late and you’ll find that when you DO finally implement it people might not have seen it coming and they may leave your site in droves!
The best policy to adopt is, just like Google, to focus on RELEVANCE. Don’t bombard your visitors with advertisements that are totally unrelated to their needs or interests or totally separate to the content you provide on your website.
And remember - often times it can be better to foster relationships and trust with your visitors with one eye on the longer term view rather than hit them with ads to make a small amount of cash in the short-term.

When I first attempted to make money online I was so naive just like any newbie. But I learned from the school of hard knocks. I learned by trial and error and by just doing.
In the beginning I submitted my site to every search engine under the sun. I tried traffic exchanges, banner exchanges, FFA’s, safelists, online classified ads etc. and not surprisingly I got zero results. If anything… I was very good at getting sp-ammed.
