Search engine optimization, or SEO, is big business. If you rely on search engines to bring visitors to your business website, you need to rely on more than luck. Your business will lag far short of its potential unless your site is optimized and re-optimized for search engine results.

These are several ways that you can use to persuade visitors to give their e-mail address.
1. Ask visitors to subscribe to your e-zine. It’s a good idea to also give them a freebie when they subscribe.
2. Have them sign-up to get access to download a f.ree ebook. The subject of the ebook should be related to your target audience.
3. Give your visitors a free membership inside your member’s only web site. Have them sign-up to receive a user name and password.

It doesn’t make any difference if you’re promoting your own product, affiliate programs or MLM programs, there are 3 services your business can’t live without.
Service #1: Web Hosting
I’m not talking about one of those Free accounts where they throw their own ad in everytime someone visits your site. I’m talking about a premium, ad free web hosting package with your own domain name. Plenty of space and able to handle plenty of traffic. Free sites that ad their own banner are not very professional in most peoples eyes and turns them off real quick.

By no means is email dead, it is still the best personal communication method besides picking up the phone. It’s just that RSS does some things much better than email.

In the world of online busines something has gone wrong. Something has gone badly wrong. Late last night I turned on my television and discovered a used car salesman trying to sell this cheap clunker of a car to recently pink-slipped and bankrupt dot-com unfortunates. Apparently if you want to trade in your luxury sports car, these guys would be “happy” to give you a great deal on something more “economical.”
