I started as an internet marketer, like I am sure a few of you have with various mlm programs. After little success with these types of programs I finally decided it was time I make my own website and get serious about marketing on the internet. Although I have not been doing this as long as some, there have been a few things that I have learned along the way that have helped me achieve much more success than my previous ventures in mlm. 1. Place all your feeds on the following website and the directories listed on this page - http://www.rss-feeds-directory.com/blog_lists.html
2. For fast inclusion into yahoo, get yourself a “my yahoo” page - http://my.yahoo.com/ and place your rss feed on that page.
3. Have a link which allows other people to put your rss feed on their own “my yahoo” page. See “my yahoo” for details.
4. For fast inclusion to msn, also open a “my msn” account and add your rss feed to that page.

What the heck is an autoresponder?
An autoresponder is much like a fax-on-demand system, where you call a number - or, in this case, email a specific email address, fill out a form on a website or do something, like buying something online - and get an instant reply.
Internet marketing and online business people agree that email autoresponders are the greatest marketing tool ever invented. Why? Because it gives people instant access to information!

Without tracking, your online advertising is just a shot in the dark. Many new and seasoned marketing individuals spend significant dollars on Pay-per-click (PPC) banner advertisements, ezline ads, and other online media but do not know which ads have brought them the greatest success.
You know that you should be tracking all of your online ad buys, but are you? Do you understand your numbers and what you should do with them? Are you refining your email and online marketing efforts accordingly?

When it comes to making money online, there are a wide variety of web sites with different graphics and copy with some being very detailed and some not. The important thing is that both generate cash. If you have a home based internet business and are interested in marketing and selling your product, but don’t have a lot of money to invest in a fancy, professionally created Web site, then you should consider setting up minisites for your various products.

It official Yahoo has dropped Google and will be using Inktomi’s results to power their directory.
Previously when you did a search at Yahoo the top sponsor ads are from Overture and the bulk “free listing” ads were supplied by Google.
A few months back Yahoo purchased Inktomi as well as Overture and the online community was just waiting for the day that Yahoo would power all it’s results in house.

Almost anyone who has tried submitting to free-for-all sites will say that they are no longer worth the effort as a traffic generating tool. Automated FFA submissions to “millions” of sites are also not that useful as most of these sites are only ever “visited” by automated submission scripts and not by human eyes. The only thing these auto submission tools achieve is to get your e-mail address bombarded with “confirmation” e-mail from the FFA page owners. Many unsuspecting users who submitted their personal e-mail address to these submission tools have suffered incredible frustrations because of the “spam” they receive. (Technically they are confirmatory e-mail that the submitters agreed to receive.)
