“RSS” stands for “Really Simple Syndication”. It is a new way to distribute content. Any content: websites, blogs, forums, etc. To explain what this means, for once let’s start at the end.
Content from RSS feeds can be displayed by an RSS newsreader.
You and I, as end-users or consumers of that content, can read it by installing a newsreader (more on this below). You have to put an URL for an RSS feed into that newsreader (like you put a web address in your browser).

1. Create a free ebook directory on a specific topic at your web site. People will visit your web site to read the free ebooks and may see your product ad.
2. Turn part of your web site into a members only web site. Instead of charging for access, use it as a free bonus for one of your products.
3. Add a free classified ad section to your web site. You could then trade banner ads with other web sites that have free classified ad sections.

My first real foray into Internet Marketing was a Pay Per Click ad campaign. I really had no idea what I was getting myself into and the results were predictable. I soon had a mountain of debt with little in the way of results to show for it.
It wasn’t the Pay Per Click company’s fault. They basically did what they pronised to do. They got people to my website. The blame was all mine. I had made a couple of serious mistakes during the planning of my campaign. I will share those mistakes so that you can avoid making those same errors yourself.

An autoresponder is an automatic or software-mailing program.
Why would you want that?
Because whoever you are, you don’t have enough time, and an autoresponder will maximise your time potential.

That’s just great, but is that it? No.

Shortly after it went live I realised that nobody apart from me could see it and it started to dawn on me what this ‘Internet thing’ is all about. It is not about having a stand-alone website plonked somewhere that nobody will ever see - it is about being part of an INTERconnected NETwork of other websites. INTER-NET. The penny dropped - I needed to start getting connected to other websites.
