Having an eBusiness isn’t just about getting gobs of people to your site and hope that a number of them buy. Having your little web counter screaming 50,000 visitors a day doesn’t mean “jack” if no one buys from you. It isn’t about the quantity of your visitors it’s about the quality.

Accusations of spam can be so harmful to your business that every effort should be made to prevent it.
However, simply requesting a surfer to enter an e-mail address into an online form on your website is not a guarantee of not being accused of spam.
Here’s what could happen
One of your competitors could visit your website and enter the name of a well-known anti-spammer. When your autoresponder sends out the latest copy of your newsletter or mini-course to this person, he will become very angry.

Getting links to a new website, without Google page rank, can be difficult and sometimes nearly impossible. Most of the websites that have a good page rank in the first place, don’t link back to sites without page rank. Some of the webmasters won’t even link back to sites unless they have a page rank of 4 or more.

With the ever evolving internet market for just about anything you can imagine and Google’s index growing to almost 9 billion pages, and counting, there is little dispute amongst search engine optimizers that our job is getting much harder. One of the biggest threats to the continued growth of Search Advertising is the increasing plague of click fraud. Although there are varying forms of click fraud, most people define it as any click generated, and paid for, where the intent is to drain the advertiser’s budget. Advertisers know some clicks are more qualified than others, and not every visitor from their PPC campaigns will convert to a customer. But, they have a right to expect that the traffic they are paying for is coming from people at least marginally interested in their products or services.
