Many surfers are savvy enough to identify ClickBank affiliate links, simply by glancing at their browser’s status-bar before clicking. The status-bar reveals the familiar ClickBank hoplink URL, which frequently alerts the surfer that an affiliate referral is about to take place. A proportion of prospects lose interest as soon as they realize that an affiliate relationship exists. They reason (consciously or sub-consciously) that an affiliate with a vested interest is not making a genuine recommendation. So they simply don’t click the link.

Does your online marketing campaign have a flat tire? Or is it more like a slow leak?
Today my 16 year old son Fritz called on the cell phone from high school. Mom took the call. "Could Dad fix my flat tire during the day?" Of course I would fix it.
And then it hit me. Knowing you have a flat tire is a lot better than not knowing. Unfortunately, when your online marketing campaign has a flat tire or a slow leak, it may take a while before you realize it or fix it.

Suppose you have a website with 500 visitors a day, and one in fifty of them requests information. That’s ten e-mails you’re going to have to send manually for the next few days or weeks. And tomorrow you get another ten, and the next day another ten… can you imagine how complicated managing this process could be?

Blogging is a time consuming process. It involves the process of gathering, reading, digesting and compiling information into a nice, meaty post that gives your reader an insight into the unique way you see and understand issues.
Most serious business bloggers have at least two or three blogs that they write simultaneously. I have ten, but don’t update all regularly.

Here are a few smart ways to do that:
1. Sell your product at a higher price. This increases the perceived value because people usually associate the higher priced product as being better.
2. Offer a free trial or sample of your product. This increases the perceived value because people think you’re confident in your product, so it must be good.

Google this, Google that, Google Google Google…….
My name is Debbie and I am a Google PR Junkie.
I have to laugh at myself as I say that. Because to me I was a Google PR junkie. I had to know what my PR was everyday! Sometimes more than once a day (ok, ok, i’ll admit) everyday I checked at least four times a day to make sure my PR was still the same or maybe to see if it had moved up a notch. Yep I was definitely addicted to Google. I thought Google was the light at the end of the tunnel. If Google said I was a certain PR then by all means it was right. Why? Cause Google said.

Hardly a day goes by without a forum posting in which ClickBank is challenged about the reliability and integrity of its affiliate referral tracking mechanism - the hoplink system. It cannot be denied that ClickBank’s technical infrastructures do not always inspire the greatest level of confidence. But this article sets out to demonstrate that a range of factors play a part in the integrity of affiliate tracking and any one of these can be the cause of those much-reviled commission losses.
