First, go to google and type “dan kennedy” into the search box. At the present time I get about 49,200 results!
Now, type in “jason blackston” into the search box. Well, it’s quite a drop from the 49,200 results Dan Kennedy received. At only 123 results, I’ve got a ways to go to catch old Dan!
Nevertheless, the more articles that I submit to various ezines and the more websites that I have on the internet, my search results are going to continue to grow!

Let’s see here… as of today Google states it has indexed 8,058,044,651 Web pages! Not all are quality, not all are of interest - as a matter of fact many are just dead files located on a server out in Internet-land. With that in mind, and the fact that in my not so humble opinion the Web is saturated, how are you going to get found in this mess?

About directories:
A directory is simply a web site that contains a categorized listing of links from around the web. They aid surfers to locate the ‘best’ and most informative links for a particular category. For example a category may be called ‘Home and Garden’ and in this category there is list of links about home improvement and gardening. Directories consist of a collection of categories into which links are seperated. Categories can have sub-categories to make the division of links more specific.

Submitting your website to the Search Engines today may seem like a futile task or at very least, a complete waste of time. When you consider that there are millions of websites that could be listed just for the word FREE, it hardly seems worth the effort.
Most websites today compete heavily for a top ten listing on the major search engines for words or phrases that are relevant to their websites. This equates to targeted traffic or visitors with a desire to see their webpages.
