The number one concern for Internet sales is your marketing list — in other words, your audience.
But…but…but…you’re saying, products for sales is a must too, however, if your list is nonexistent, small or loosely targeted, having a product isn’t going to help much. There just will not be any success.
Yes, I know this is confusing. You need a product to attract. By the way, I am using product interchangeably to mean services too.

I got my first email account way too many years ago.
I was working for a large Chicago bank in the 1980s, when they introduced an electronic message service for internal communications. The only electronic mail that seemed to flow for the longest time were all those official HR notification of vacation time policies, etc., and of course, the ALL CAPS messages from the executive floor.

HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU?
I’m looking online for lamp shades. I go to Google and click on the top Sponsored Link in the right column: Expo.com. I’m taken to their "Lighting and Fans" page. There are 29 links in the left navigation, but no lamp shades. So I do a keyword search. Products Found = 0. All I can do is wonder why they wasted my time and their money, and move on to the next ad.
