Behind every good web page are codes only the search engines read. These codes help the search engines match your page with requests from their searchers.
There are two types of codes - or “meta tags” - that you care about. One is keywords and the other is the description.
Keywords are words and phrases associated with your site. If you’re selling a book on how to housebreak your dog, for example, your keywords might include “puppy, housebreaking, house break, paper train, dogs, puppies” and others.

Keywords aren’t just some words that allow search engines, like Google, to find your web site. They are also key elements for creating attractive language to use in your marketing or advertising material. For instance places such as: brochures, business cards, flyers, and ads. Keywords can also fit well into speaking engagements scripts or audiotapes scripts as well as audience handouts.
It is important to create a keyword list for each product or service you have. The keyword list might even change slightly if there are various groups or audiences for that product or service.

Over 40% of all emails within your marketing campaign are not being delivered. You may not even be aware of this, as many ISPs will not send back a bounce message. In fact if you are sending messages to AOL customers, AOL is now blocking over 80% of the messages that come into their servers.
One of the main reasons that this is occurring is that your IP or Domain may be Black Listed. All major ISP’s and many corporate email systems now check against Black Lists and will refuse to deliver any emails that come from an IP that is Black Listed.

Blogging is the latest buzzword in online marketing and PR.
But with so many marketers jumping on the blogging bandwagon, few people are giving a thought to whether blogs are really up their alley, or taking the time to consider the best ways of going about it.

Do you know what kind of sites are suitable link partners for your site?
If you do give yourself a gold star since many seem not to. At least based on the questions I get.
You see most think small. Too small. And limit the potential universe of perfectly good linking partners.
In fact many seem to think relevant means “sites exactly like mine”. So if they had a site about “juggling midget circus clowns” the small thinkers would say they could only trade links with other juggling midget circus clown sites.

The Challenge
WebSiteMarketingPlan.com was to be a companion site to the Web promotion and marketing plan guide “How Much for Just the Spider? Strategic Website Marketing.” Although the approach was relatively new — marketing plan development integrating traditional and online marketing strategies — the general “Internet Marketing” category was crowded and very competitive. Additionally, I had much offline marketing experience, but zero online credibility.
My initial challenges when launching the Website were:
1.) to gain online credibility and

If you have any interest in getting high search engine rankings for your website (and who doesn’t) you’ve probably been sold the idea that writing and publishing your own articles will do it for you.
Here’s why that’s not entirely true.
Imagine the following scenario…
You write an article around a keyword or keyphrase you want to rank well for.
You submit that article to all the article submission sites and directories and ezines you can find.
